Meet the Parish Council

Lawrence Wragg  has lived in the village for 12 years. He has been vice chairman of Ickleton Parish Council, and chairman of the Governors of Duxford School.   Lawrence Wragg

Tony Bearpark Tony Bearpark has lived and worked in the village for 20yrs as Manager of Appleacre Park. He is President of the Fowlmere and Thriplow Royal British Legion and now looks forward to working with the PC Team in developing the future of Fowlmere and the continued well being of all village residents.   Deborah Roberts Ms DP Roberts and her family have lived in Fowlmere for over 25 years and she has been a member of the parish council for 20 of them. Along with her various parish council commitments Deborah has also served as a governor on the village primary school, been the chair of the village hall committee, a neighbourhood watch co-ordinator and has for many years been part of the British Legion yearly collection team in Fowlmere. She is also district councillor for Foxton and Fowlmere ( Independent ). Deborah is the Planning Committee Chair.
Suzie Crowther
Suzie has lived in Fowlmere for many years and her son attends Fowlmere Primary School.  Suzie also works in the village and has an interest in improving play facilities for children in Fowlmere.

Mel Vinton
Mel moved from Cambridge and has lived and worked in Fowlmere over 25years.
He is a founder member of the Friends of St Mary's. Mel is married and has children and grandchildren. He is particularly concerned with the availability of village amenities for the elderly and the availability of affordable housing allowing local young couples and families to remain here.

Jeni is a new Councillor, who has lived in Fowlmere for many years and has has family living here too.  She is a Headteacher in Bedfordshire.
Michael Sunderland Mike Sunderland has lived in the village for 4 years. He has children and grandchildren. Having been a teacher for over 35 years, he is aware of how important a stable local community can be.   Sue Wells  Sue Wells is a first time councillor who has recently moved to Fowlmere. She is representing Fowlmere PC on the Fowlmere Village Hall Committee. She loves gardening, walking and making crafts. She works in our family business as a senior removal coordinator.

  Chris Howe Chris Howe has lived in Fowlmere for over 20 years, and was one of the founder members of the Friends of St Mary's. He is a Professor of Biochemistry in Cambridge University.
